Big Brothers/ Big Sisters: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend work to help children facing adversity be the most successful they can be in all aspects of life. Volunteer as a Big Brother or Sister and develop a positive, lasting relationship with a child between 6 and 18. You must be at least 18 years of age, complete the enrollment process and be able to dedicate a minimum of four hours a week for one year. Second Harvest of the Big Bend: Did you know there are 98,900 people in the community at risk of not having enough to eat? Second Harvest of the Big Bend is looking for volunteers to help feed those in need and educate the community on the fight against hunger.
