Who doesn’t love coming home to a cooked meal?

One of the top college cooking essentials has to be the Crock-Pot. I just bought one at Walmart for a whopping $10! Crock-pots can vary from as low as $10 to as high as almost $90.

Most college students spend most of their time attending classes and working. That usually tends to make the average student eat fattening junk food.

The Crock-Pot allows you to cook just about anything. You can throw in some veggies and protein into the pot in the morning and let it cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours, depending on what you are eating. There you go, a healthy meal!

Most people tend to want the ‘I want it now’ meal, which is why people eat so much fast food. It makes it nice when using the Crock-Pot because once you walk into your house you get hit with the amazing smell of your food that’s been cooking since you left for class in the AM.
