A balanced meal includes whole grains, protein, fiber-rich fruits, veggies, and low-fat dairy. Iron is known to make you feel more energized, with that being said if you are feeling sluggish you should increase your iron intake by eating plenty of Spinach, Dark chocolate, Potato’s, Beans, nuts, tomatoes, quinoa and much more. When you eat those foods it allows your body to absorb more iron.

Most students don’t know that the food you eat plays an important role in your energy levels.

When you eat fatty food, you feel un-energized. To stay alert all day, you need to fuel your body accordingly with nutrients that boost your energy.
