The weather has begun to cool down, allowing residents to begin enjoying the outdoor sporting activities that come with it.

Attendees of Kevin’s Southern Game Fair can also enjoy outdoor sporting with a day of clay shooting to contribute to the three non-profit charities.

Kevin’s Second Annual Southern Game Fair is a two-day event that will be held Nov. 9 and 10 at the Kevin’s of Thomasville and the Greenwood Plantation Campus in Thomasville, Georgia.

Kevin’s of Tallahassee Manager Miles Glass said they expect growth at this year’s event with around 250 people expected to attend the event.

“A fun-filled day in the field, celebrating the heritage of Thomasville through conservation,” Glass said about the event in an email.

All proceeds from the Game Fair will benefit the Navy Seal Foundation, Tall Timbers Research Center and the National Rifle Association’s Youth Initiative. Organizers expect the event will raise over $15,000 for each of the charities

Kevin’s Creative Director Jackie Johnson said the purpose of the fair is a way for the company to share its love of the outdoors with community and support preserving the Longleaf Pine Forest.

“It is an opportunity to get to experience Greenwood Plantation Campus (privately owned property that Jackie Kennedy visited several times after JFK’s assignation), a chance to shoot Purdey Guns and Kevin’s Premier Shotguns, wagon rides, dog demonstrations of several breeds and a day to enjoy the outdoors with your family” Johnson said in a recent email.

Those interested in going to the event can purchase tickets at kevinscatalog.com. There are two ticket options, a $50 non-shooter ticket and a $150 Shooter Ticket. The non-shooter ticket includes private shopping in Kevin’s store and cocktail party at the Kevin’s of Thomasville, as well as access to the all-day event. The second ticket option is the shooter ticket that includes all day shooting as well as the activities available to non-shooters.
