This past Tuesday, Tallahassee Community College held an event called Safe Not Sorry. The event raised awareness for distracted driving, and one of the organizations that came was the Anthony Phoenix Branca Foundation. During the event, we asked Demetrius Branca, head of this organization, a couple of questions about what goals he’s trying to accomplish and the background story behind his foundation.
Q: What are you trying to achieve through this foundation?
A: We are dedicated to raising awareness on the consequences of
distracted driving.
Q: What’s three main goals you have?
A: My three mains goals I have are to educate drivers, save lives, and to
end this deadly epidemic.
Q: Besides raising awareness on distracted driving, what else to the APB foundation try to achieve?
A: In addition to anti-distracted driving initiatives, the APB Foundation seeks to strengthen the local community through charity and outreach.
