The coronavirus pandemic has affected millions of people across the globe, including college students. Schools and colleges have shifted classes online for the rest of the semester, graduation and other school activities have been cancelled and students’ academic plans have been affected. Many Tallahassee Community College students returned home, some students stayed in town, but all of them are doing their best to fulfill their academic requirements to finish out the semester despite the societal upheaval.

As the coronavirus prowls around, we have to sit and wait on what to do next. I can’t deal with this.
Plans to spend time with my family and friends have been canceled. I’m so happy I had the chance to enjoy the beach a week before this change came, but as hard as I work in school that’s all I got the chance to enjoy.
This just isn’t fair to me.
This virus has interfered with my ability to socialize. I am not a person that likes to be alone.
Now I’m home all the time. I barely even walk out the door because I’m nervous of breathing in the wrong air. Being at home and feeling watched is an uncomfortable feeling for me.
I will be so glad when all of this is over, so I can communicate how I want to. Going out and having a good time is what Spring Break or any break from school is all about, right?
This crisis has affected my sleeping pattern. I tend to sleep most of the day away and be attentive all night.
Living like this is ridiculous and very abnormal. Are we supposed to get used to this? Is this the new normal
This pandemic has changed this world and I’m afraid it might never turn back for the good.
