The Eyrie, Tallahassee Community College’s award-winning student art and literary magazine, is now available online.
It can be viewed here.
For the past 39 years, Tallahassee Community College has published the Eyrie to showcase various kinds of TCC student talents. Students enrolled in the literary magazine production course JOU2440L reviewed more than 300 submissions to select 54 pieces – art, photography, and creative writing – that best show the college’s creativity and quality.
Students who produced the latest magazine hope it will inspire their classmates to continue to shine brightly, no matter the circumstance.
Zipporah Reeds is one of the writers who has their work published in this year’ Eyrie.
“My shadow will be left behind. My heart will be ecstatic. I will dance. I will be alive. I will be free,” Reeds wrote.
To help ensure the safety of our students and community, printed copies will be available on campus once the college returns to regular operations. The student staff and advisor hope to hold a celebration of the magazine and its published students in the fall semester on campus.
Follow Eyrie on social media to stay updated so you don’t miss out on getting your hands on a copy once the magazine is available on campus.
