Former Tallahassee Community College student and Jacksonville native Jake Pearthree is making his mark as a young filmmaker and actor. While attending TCC, Pearthree was cast in various student productions at Florida State University’s distinguished film school. When he graduated from the University of North Florida, he left his hometown to move to Los Angeles, hoping to make his way into the film industry.
When the time came for Pearthree to produce and co-star in his own film, he returned to Jacksonville, where he would be surrounded by all the support he needed. Pearthree and his film partner Michael Pettit have dedicated many months to produce their feature-length film titled “A Day in the Life.” Although the filming took place in March, Pearthree has since moved back to L.A. where he is finishing up the production.
