Third-year Tallahassee Community College student Daija White is a young entrepreneur and owner of a flourishing hair styling business, Swinging Inches. Throughout the chaos caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the civil unrest in our nation, White has been heartened by the support of the local community.
In 2016, White opened Swinging Inches at the age of 16. As a young business owner, she said that she has faced many challenges. But through these difficulties, White’s dream of success motivates her to keep going, no matter the challenges that arise.
