Tallahassee Community College Executive Vice President and Provost Madeline Pumariega was named president of Miami Dade College, becoming the first woman to hold the position. Pumariega has worked in the Florida college system since 1992, and has been at TCC since May 2019.
She is expected to start in January, and is “grateful and thankful” to be offered the position.
