Playlist Title: Hall of Fame Song
Skeletons – Travis Scott; This song is one of the few songs that truly put me in a different mindset or mood. The smooth and almost dreamy chords always calm me down.
Droppin’ Jewels – Young Thug; This song is special to me, as Young Thug is one of my favorite artists. The smooth drums and horns playing in this song almost give it a “Jazz-like” feel. This song is constantly playing when I’m in the car, at work, or even doing tasks around the house.
All Along the Watchtower – Jimi Hendrix; This song is one of the main reasons I started playing the drums at a young age. Although Jimi Hendrix is covering this song as a remix, It still shows how truly talented he was at playing the guitar.
I see $’s – Young Dolph; This song is special to me, as Young Dolph is one of my favorite artists. I usually play this song while I’m doing a task or getting ready for work in the morning, and it always makes me prepared for the day and ready to go hustle. This song became even more special to me now after Young Dolph passed away from a gunshot wound in 2021. (RIP)
Cudi zone – Kid Cudi; This song takes me way back to my early high school days almost six years ago. Kid Cudi has always been one of my favorite artists, and this song always puts me in a good mood and makes me appreciate life. The lyrics are focused on being happy and escaping negativity, something that everyone should be interested in.
Banking on Me – Gunna; This song was my favorite song from last year and was so catchy to me. I would hear it nonstop around friends, on the radio, or anywhere in public. The lyrics to this song do not have much meaning but the production and flow on this record make it special
Kuntry and Wistern – Koe Wetzel; Although I don’t listen to much country music at all, I love this song. My dad and I share a bond over this song after he showed it to me, which makes it even more special. When I hear this song it reminds me of summers at home relaxing by the lake.
XO TOUR LIF3 – Lil Uzi Vert; This song once again takes me back to my early days in high school, and it makes me think about all of the great times I had with this song. Most of my friends agree that times were much simpler when this song was taking over
Mrs. Officer – Lil Wayne; My love for Hip-Hop started with Lil Wayne, and this song is a true classic. I love how smooth this song is, and it is truly one of the best Hip-Hop songs ever in my opinion.
Married to the Game – Future and DJ Esco; This song is a major throwback for me, although I still find myself constantly playing this song. One thing that I find cool about this song is the music video. The video consists of the two artists traveling over different countries and shooting scenes with random people around the world. I found the whole concept pretty cool.
