Kat Large credits a lot of her music taste to her friends, as well as bands she discovered while going to live concerts and hearing them play alongside her favorite artists. Growing up in Tallahassee, Fla., she reminisces on the past seasons of her life in which she listened to these songs.
“I love how melancholy they sound and how some of the singers put so much emotion into what they write and sing,” said Kat, who is a second-year TCC student.
Although the songs in her playlist exude a gloomy atmosphere, Kat finds the feelings they elicit are consistent with when she first listened to those songs years ago.
“They bring back a lot of good memories and bad ones, but I love looking at them in a soft retrospect.”
